William Asbury “Bill” Styles

William “Bill” Asbury Styles, 87, of Dawsonville, GA passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Seasons Hospice IPU, Cumming, GA. He was born to the late James Otis and Cleo Styles. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War as a mechanic on the B-29 Bomber. He was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, Dahlonega, GA. Bill was a Over the Road Trucker hauling cars for Ford Motor Company for over 40 years before retiring.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jo Styles; brothers, James Styles and Nathan Styles.

He is survived by his son and daughter in law, Ken and Ann Styles of Lawrenceville, GA; grandchildren, Michael Boyd, Hannah Styles, Robert Styles, Emily Styles; and numerous other relatives.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 29, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home, Dawsonville, GA, with the Rev. Phil DeMore and Rev. C. R. Hill will officiate. Interment will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 11:30 am at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA with Military Honors.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Bearden Funeral Home.
