DAWSON COUNTY, Ga. – The Municipal General election results are being reported as 100% in for Dawson County.

Mark Wade French (I) wins the City Council Post 4 seat, beating their opponent, Jennifer L. Smith.

City Council Post 2 was also up for reelection. The incumbent, William Illg, ran unopposed retaining his seat.

Dawson County residents also voted on Homestead Exemption From County Ad Valorem Taxes and Homestead Exemption From County And Educational Ad Valorem Taxes to which the majority of voters said yes to both.
