Ribbon Cutting for Georgia Racing Hall of Fame

PRESS RELEASE- Yesterday, we had a ribbon cutting and Business After Hours for the Grand Re-Opening celebration of the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame (GRHOF)!!
Cindy Elliott, Executive Director of the GRHOF, honored Senator Steve Gooch and John Woodruff with plaques for their support to the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame. Also, she unveiled updates to the Hall of Fame, vintage garage exhibit, and Gordon Pirkle Room additions. The big hit of the night is the NEW 6 state-of-the art Racing Simulators! These simulators are where you can feel what it is like to drive a racecar and compete with other racers in a thrilling interactive experience.
The GRHOF since opening in Dawsonville in 2002 serves to preserve the auto racing achievements of notable racecar drivers and stands as a testament to the rich history and passion for racing.
Annual Labor Day Car Show is Saturday, August 31st, from 8am-2pm
