Dawson County absentee ballot apps wound up in Decatur County

DAWSON COUNTY, Ga. — If you requested an absentee ballot in Dawson County, chances are your application wound up in the Decatur County, Ga., not too far from the Georgia-Florida line.

A post on the Dawson County Elections and Voter Registration site states that the vendor who printed the ballots inadvertently printed the wrong address.

Decatur is forwarding the applications to Dawson County as soon as they are received. “If you mailed your app to Decatur County, we have it or will get it.
