Second COVID-19 related death reported in Dawson County

DAWSON COUNTY, Ga. – At 7 p.m. today (April 10), the Georgia Department of Health (DPH) reported that a confirmed case of COVID-19 had claimed a second life in Dawson County. Fetch Your News does not have any additional details on the age, or gender of the deceased.

The DPH issues daily reports at noon and 7 p.m. This evening’s report indicates there have been 11,859 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Georgia, 425 deaths and 2,454 people have been hospitalized with the disease.

Dawson County has had 25 confirmed cases, Lumpkin County 9 and White County 11. Neither Lumpkin nor White have reported any deaths.
