PRESS RELEASE- Dawson County Government hosted the groundbreaking ceremony yesterday for the future E-911 Communications/Emergency Operation Center. Located at 90 Liberty Drive this future center will be the first voice you hear in an emergency and will coordinate with the Sheriff’s Office, Fire Department, EMS, Marshal’s Office, and more.

Thank you to Dawson County’s 911 team for keeping our community safe. Also, Thank You to county leadership, construction management, Sheriff’s Department, EMS/Fire Department, and all who made this new center possible.

This amazing project is funded by SPLOST VII that was voted on and approved in March 2021.
