The Dawson Co. Tigers defeated the Lumpkin Co. Indians 96-73 on Tuesday night in Dawsonville. The teams combined for 29 three pointers in the game, with the Tigers hitting 16 of them.

Dawson Co. had plenty of players have a big night for them. Senior Jake Craft was the star, scoring 45 points and hitting 7 threes. Senior Joakeim Celestin had 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists. Senior Max Tierney recorded a double-double with 16 points and 15 rebounds. Sophomore Jaden Gibson recorded 17 assists, which was 3 assists shy of the Dawson Co. record.
For the Indians, junior Jones Harris led them in scoring with 26 points. Senior Chandler Pulley scored 23 points and hit 7 three pointers. Senior Gus Faulkner also had double digits with 15 points.
Gibson recorded 12 of his 17 assists in the first quarter, helping the Tigers to a 29-20 lead. Celestin scored 17 of his 25 points in the first.
Leading 68-53 at the end of the third, Dawson Co. scored 28 points to seal the game in the 4th.
The Tigers host the Pickens Dragons this Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
