DAWSON COUNTY, Ga. –Sources close to the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office confirmed today that a female juvenile has been arrested in connection with the death of a 1-2 week old baby whose body was found in a wooded area on Thompson Road July 3.

The female juvenile, whose identity is being withheld due to her age has been charged one count of Concealing the Death of another Person and 1-count of Reckless Conduct.

The infant’s manner of death is also being withheld while the investigation continues.
