DAWSON COUNTY, Ga. — Dawson County E-911 received a transferred call from Forsyth for a reported structure fire on Coltrane Rd. at 05:54 a.m. Thursday (Aug. 13). First units arrived on scene at 06:05 a.m. to find a single story, single family dwelling with heavy fire showing. Unit’s began a defensive attack and the fire was declared under control at 06:26 a.m.

One person resides at the residence, who was not at home at the time of fire. Dawson County Fire Investigators determined that the fire was not intentional. Investigators have ruled the fire as undetermined. There are no reported injuries from civilians or firefighters.
