DAWSONVILLE, Ga.,- On Thursday evening, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., officials with the Georgia DOT will host a public meeting to present the proposed replacement of the State Route 136 bridge over Toto Creek.

The meeting will be held at the Dawson County Fire Station #2 (145 Liberty Drive, Dawsonville, GA 30534).

This project will replace the existing bridge build in 1956 and will require a local detour during construction. Detour details and routes will be presented at Thursday night’s meeting.

Citizens are encouraged to attend and leave comments via comment cards provided.
