DAWSON COUNTY, Ga. – The case of the man accused to killing his wife in the parking lot of Fire Station 7 on July 29 has been bound over to Superior Court

Jeremy Wade Gibson, 44, appeared in Magistrate Court today (Aug. 14), where the judge found probable cause.

Witnesses say Gibson followed his wife, Amy Alexandria Gibson, in his car into the parking lot of Fire Station 7 then shot her several times as the couple’s two young children watched in terror in the back seat. The children were unharmed.

After the shooting, Gibson put his gun on the ground and quietly surrendered to unarmed firefighters who witnessed the shooting.

Gibson is charged with five felonies – two counts of murder, one count of cruelty to children in the first degree, one count of aggravated assault and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
