DAWSONVILLE, Ga. – Saturday’s God, Guns and Cycles ride/cruise to benefit the family of Amy Alexandria Gibson surpassed all expectations. Approximately 100 cars and motorcycles made the trek from Dawsonville to Dahlonega, raising $2,200 along the way.
Gibson was shot to death last week in the parking lot of Dawson County Fire Station 7, leaving behind two young children, ages 5 and 8.
God, Guns and Cycles had another ride scheduled last Saturday, but at the last minute that ride was cancelled and the club’s President Jordan Reece agreed to go ahead with the ride to benefit the Gibson family.
“It was amazing,” Reece said “It was a last-minute thing that we didn’t have time to plan. It was just God’s timing that it worked out.
