News July 31, 2019
DAWSONVILLE, Ga. – Once again, the citizens of Dawson County are coming together for the common good. This Saturday (Aug. 3) a benefit ride/cruise is being organized by God, Guns and Cycles, a motorcycle ministry to benefit the young children whose mother Amy Alexandria Gibson, was murdered outside Fire Station 7 in Dawsonville Monday.
Sadly, the two children ages 5 and 8 witnessed that shooting.
Sunny Barrentine, is helping Jordan Reece, president of God, Guns and Cycles to organize a ride/cruise event to benefit the children. The donation to drive in the event is $20 and $10 to ride. Both motorcycles and cars are invited to participate.
Registration begins at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame in Dawsonville. The ride/cruise will start at 11 a.m. and will end at Johnny B’s in Dahlonega.
Reece said today (July 31) he expects a strong turnout of at least 50 motorcycles and cars.
