CUMMING, Ga. — Candidates for Georgia Republican Party offices will be featured in a Meet & Greet at 6:30 p.m today at the 6140 Events facility at 6140 Hwy. 400 in Cumming.

Dawson County Republican Party Chairlady Seanie Zappendorf has said Republicans are always talking about working together as Republicans. Tonight’s event offers a great opportunity to do just that.

The event brings together local Republican Party chapters from Dawson, Lumpin, Forsyth, Hall, Pickens, Gilmer, Stephens, Jackson, Gwinnett, Cherokee and Fayette counties.

Candidates for offices include: Bruce Azevedo, David Shafer, Scott Johnson, and Dr. Mary Kay Bacallao (Chairperson); Carolyn Hall Fisher (First Vice Chair); Rick Carithers, Brant Frost and Robert Lee (Second Vice Chair); Joseph Brannan and Nathaniel Darnell (Treasurer); Vikki Consiglio and Mansell McCord (Assistant Treasurer); Mike Welsh (Secretary); B.J. Van Gundy (Assistant Secretary).
