Commissioners Have Busy Agenda for Thursday Meeting

DAWSONVILLE Ga. — The Dawson County Board of Commissioners have a crowded agenda for tomorrow’s regular meeting. In addition to voting to implement a new compensation plan for county employees, they will appoint new members to the Development Authority of Dawson County and three rezoning requests.

There will also be a public hearing to consider an increase in the transfer station fee assessment.

ZA 16-13 will be to consider Barbara Peterson request to rezone 5.95 acres from Residential Sub-Rural (RSR). The property is located on TMP 033-021.

The second rezoning request is for a 1-acre plot at TMP 076-0612 submitted by Hardip Singh for a convenience store to be rezoned from Residential Sub-Rural Manufactured/Moved) to Commercial Community Business (CCB).

The third rezoning request is for ZA 16-14 tH16-15 submitted by– Hetrip Unit, LLC for a 1.58 acr plot from Commercial Community Business (CCB) for a package store on TMP 119-032.

Commissioners will also consider dates for the 2017 Emergency Services Boot Drive Dates the 2017 Georgia Trauma Commission EMS Trauma Equipment Grant application and appointees to the Development Authority of Dawson County.

Those being considered include Mike Ball, Brian Trapnel, Anthony Passarello and Calvin Byrd.
