Terry “Goodester” Goode, 54, of Dawsonville passed away Sunday July 24, 2016 at Northside Hospital Forsyth following a brief illness.
Born August 6, 1961, he was a lifelong resident of Dawson County and member of Sweetwater Baptist Church. A proud and loving grandfather, Mr. Goode was also an avid outdoorsman and racing fan. He was preceded in death by his father, Vasco Goode; brothers, Jerry Goode, Jimmy Goode; sister, Elda Looper.

Surviving are his wife, Teresa Johnson Goode, Dawsonville; daughters and son in law, Chastity and Russ NeSmith, Dahlonega, Teressia Carlene Goode, Dahlonega; sons, Trent Goode, Dawsonville, Brent Terry Goode, Dawsonville; grandchildren, Austin Miller, Aaron Owens, Natalie NeSmith, Kaleigh NeSmith, Zachary Goode, JohnnyB. Goode; mother, Gladys Bennett, Dawsonville; brothers, Timmy Goode, Dawsonville, Troy Goode, Dawsonville, Tracey Goode, Dawsonville; sisters, Jeanette Reece, Dawsonville, Joan Brown, Dawsonville; a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 27, 2016 at 2 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Charles Blackstock will officiate. Interment will follow in the Sweetwater Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2PM until 8PM and Wednesday until the service hour.
