Benefit Singing to Support NGSGM

Religion

The North Georgia School of Gospel Music is a two week program held every summer during the last two weeks of June. We teach children and adults of all ages how to read 4 part harmony music, as well as music theory, ear training, conducting/directing (song leading), and private one-on-one voice and piano lessons. The 2016 session will be held June 19-July 1 at North Georgia University in Dahlonega, GA. A final close-out singing will be held on July 1 at First Baptist Church of Dawsonville.

This two week school has been very successful and has produced many songwriters, gospel and country artists, as well as many musicians and music teachers, with several past students from prior years returning to be instructors themselves.

As inflation continues to increase, so do the expenses for our school. We have put together a Benefit Concert featuring The Mylon Hayes Family and the NGSGM Student choir to be held on February 27th at First Baptist Church in Dawsonville.

We would like to ask that you, your church and/or business please consider being a sponsor of this event. Attached is information on the upcoming benefit singing as well as a sponsorship form for those wishing to contribute and have your name, church or business featured in our benefit singing brochure/program.
