The Atlanta Hawks today announced an exclusive alliance between the club and FanDuel, the top daily fantasy sports company in the world. The partnership will provide fantasy players with opportunities to receive VIP hospitality experiences during Hawks home contests and will also grant FanDuel prime marketing space at Philips Arena, the No. 1 sports and live entertainment venue in the Southeast.

“We are thrilled to embark on this innovative partnership with FanDuel, the leading one-day fantasy sports provider,”

said Andrew Steinberg, Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer of the Atlanta Hawks.

“The Atlanta Hawks are proud to count FanDuel amongst our core partners, and look forward to creating unique opportunities to engage our fans.”

The partnership calls for FanDuel to receive high-value exposure with the Hawks and Philips Arena, including the appearance of company marks along the sideline of the playing surface, and exciting opportunities for interaction with Hawks fans and FanDuel players, such as the chance to be Hawks CEO for a day. FanDuel will also become a presenting partner of reigning NBA Coach of the Year Mike Budenholzer’s weekly local radio show on flagship WZGC-FM 92.9 The Game.

“The Hawks are an amazing organization and we’re eager to start working with them,”

said Nigel Eccles, CEO of FanDuel.

“Atlanta is home to some of the nation’s biggest basketball fans and this is a fantastic opportunity to reach such a passionate audience.”

Branding opportunities for FanDuel will extend to the Hawks’ mobile application, where the company will attach its name to a game available exclusively on the app. As an additional benefit, FanDuel will receive the ability to distribute Hawks tickets and VIP experiences for winners of free-to-play one-day fantasy games.
