Dawson County Sheriff’s Office advises staying home

Press Release, Weather
Community urged to stay home with winter weather approaching.
This is your friendly reminder to plan on being home this weekend. With snow and ice extremely likely, DCSO kindly requests that you stay off the roads and not make cause for emergency response.
If it’s difficult for you to drive, it’s also difficult for us. Slower response times, reports via phone, power outages and road closures are all distinct possibilities. Be smart! Plan ahead! Do not wait to get firewood!
Please share this post with your Dawson County neighbors.
