DCSO arrests suspected kidnapper

DAWSON COUNTY, Ga. – on Sunday, Dawson County Sheriff’s Office posted a statement to their social media that following a pursuit, DCSO was able to arrest a kidnapping suspect.

According to the statement, a Forsyth County kidnapping suspect led DCSO deputies on a brief chase.

The Crime Suppression Unit and Uniform Patrol Deputies were able to box in the vehicle.

The chase came to an end on Cowart Rd near Kelly Bridge.

The driver now faces multiple charges in Dawson County before being transferred to Forsyth County.

DCSO assured that the victim is safe.
