Outages continue across Dawson County

After a night of winter weather and high winds, Amicalola Electric Membership Corporation reported widespread outages in counties it serves on its site and social media:

 

Widespread power outages are still occurring in all 10 counties we serve. A total of 6460 members are without power at this time. Lumpkin 2137, Gilmer 1727, Cherokee 1318, Dawson 687, Pickens 499 and the remaining are in Bartow, Fannin, Forsyth, Gordon and Murray counties. Thank you for your patience as we replace broken poles, repair downed power lines and work hard to get the lights back on for everyone. Outages may be reported to our outage management system at 706-253-0359 OR 706-276-0359 OR 706-864-0359.
