DAWSON COUNTY, Ga. The deadline to register to vote in the Nov. 3 Presidential Election is closing in fast. Oct. 5 is the final day.
Advanced voting will begin on Oct. 12 and run through Oct. 30 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday voting will take place on Oct. 24 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
All Saturday and advanced voting is at the Board of Elections and Voter Registration Office, 96 Academy Ave.
There is also an “OFFICIAL ABSENTEE BALLOT DROP BOX” where you can drop off your absentee ballot application and/or ballot without leaving the comfort of your vehicle. The box is located at the Board of Elections office.
