DAWSON COUNTY, Ga. — Out of an abundance of caution, the Dawson County Parks & Recreation department has made the decision to follow the guidance of Governor Kemp to temporarily postpone non-essential services.
Effective Monday March 16, 2020, the following facilities will be closed until March 30, 2020.
Effective Monday March 16, 2020, all programs facilitated by the Dawson County Parks and Recreation Department will be temporally suspended until March 30, 2020. These include: volleyball, baseball, softball, tee-ball, instructional league, soccer, track and field, lacrosse as well as all adult activities.
Currently, all parks will maintain regular hours so citizens can enjoy outside facilities.
