Ronald Rogers, 69, of Dawsonville passed away Wednesday January 29, 2020 at Northside Forsyth Hospital following a period of declining health.
Ronald was born June 2, 1950 to the late Charlie and Mary Rogers. He had been a resident of Dawsonville for three years, having moved from Forsyth County. Born and raised in Tennessee, he began a career in the pest control industry which brought him to Georgia. He had a great love for the outdoors, coon hunting and horses. Ronald was also preceded in death by a daughter, Becky Allen and brother, Donald Rogers.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Jane Rogers; daughters and sons in law, Ronda and Josh Watson, Cindy and Michael McCarron; sons and daughters in law, Chad and Renee Rogers, Josh and Bailey Rogers, all of Dawsonville; son in law, Brad Allen of Dahlonega; brother, Jimmy Rogers of Kingston, TN; 11 grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Saturday February 1, 2020 at 3 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Mark Biddy will officiate. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until the hour of service on Saturday.
