James Anthony “Jim” Lowe, Jr: Obituary

James Anthony “Jim” Lowe, Jr., 94 of Dawsonville passed away Friday November 29, 2019 at his residence following a period of declining health.
Born August 17, 1925 in Philadelphia, PA to the late James F. and Sarah Lowe, he had lived in Dawsonville for the past 37 years having moved from New Jersey. Mr. Lowe was a lifetime electrician and loved music. His biggest passion was serving his church. He was a founding member of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church and was also preceded in death by his sister, Sarah Bassett.
Surviving is his wife of 73 years, Rita Lowe, of Dawsonville; nephew, Michael Bassett, and his wife, Rhonda.
A memorial mass will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church Building Fund, 991 Kilough Church Road, Dawsonville, GA 30534.
