Multi-vehicle crash with injuries on Price Road near county line

DAWSON COUNTY, Ga. — At 2:45 p.m. today (July 6) , Dawson County Fire/EMS responded to a multi-car accident with numerous injuries. The incident was located on Price Road, just inside Dawson County. Three engines and three Med units from Dawson responded, along with a med unit from Hall and Lumpkin Counties.

A critical pediatric patient was flown by Air life to Children’s of Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA). Multiple other patients were transported to Northeast Georgia and CHOA by various EMS ground units. A total of 7 seven patients were transported from this scene.

The cause of the accident is under investigation by the Georgia State Patrol. Dawson and Hall County Sheriff’s Office assisted with traffic control at this incident. No other patient information is being released at this time.
