DAWSON COUNTY, Ga. –Dawson County Fire units were dispatched to a reported mobile home fire at 10:48 a.m. today (Feb.15) on Elliott Family Parkway.
Engine 1 arrived on scene at 10:55 with heavy smoke and flames showing from a single-wide mobile home.
Crews mounted an aggressive interior attack and the fire was under control and extinguished at 11:05.
The mobile home was searched for any victims or animals, the residence was given an all clear. There were no reported injuries to civilians or fire personnel. Firefighter’s remained on scene for several hours hitting hot spots.
The Dawson County Fire Marshall’s office is currently investigating the fire. The cause is undetermined but does not appear to be suspicious in nature.
