Shirley A. Workman, 72, of Dawsonville passed away Thursday October 4, 2018 at Chestnut Ridge following a period of declining health.
Born August 13, 1946 in Atlanta, GA to the late Richard and Jeanne Crain, she had lived in Dawson County for the past20 years having moved from Oklahoma City. Mrs. Workman retired as a secretary for the Federal Government following 30 years of service. She and her husband enjoyed living in Athens Boat Club. Shirley was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy J. Workman, and a brother, Jimmy Crain.
Surviving are her sisters, Jane Mabry, Dawsonville and Lisa Crain, Marietta.
A memorial service will be held at Athens Boat Club at a later date.
