DAWSONVILLE, Ga. – On Friday, June 29, a 2001 GMC Sierra driven by 36-year-old Jeremy Robert Kittle of Dahlonega was traveling east on Highway 53 in Dawson County when it crossed the middle lane and ran into a building at 300 Dawson Commons Circle.
Neither the driver nor his passenger, Jessica Kittle, 33, nor anyone inside the building was injured.
According to a report by the Georgia State Patrol, the driver suffered some type of medical condition that caused the wreck. Kittle’s vehicle struck a curb then the building and came to a rest with half the vehicle inside the building.
The incident was investigated by the Georgia State Patrol Office in Cumming.
Dawson County Fire Chief/EMA Director Danny Thompson said a fire engine and Med 2 responded to the incident and secured the vehicle and building.
