Martha Grogan Fowler: Obituary

Martha Grogan Fowler, 94, of Dahlonega passed away Wednesday June 20, 2018.

Born September 6, 1923 in Dawson County to the late Roy and Lillie Mae Grogan, she lived most of her life in Atlanta before moving to Lumpkin County in 2003. A homemaker at her death, Mrs. Fowler retired from the A&P Tea Company after 42 years of service. She was of the Presbyterian faith and was also preceded in death by her husband, John Curtis Fowler.

Surviving are her children, Buff Wiley, Steinhatchee, FL, Wylene Cheek, Dahlonega, Carlene Lewis, Cumming; sister, Louise King, Maryland; five grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday June 26, 2018 at 11 o’clock at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. David Feathers will officiate.
