Joan A. Little: Obituary

Joan A. Little, 61, of Waleska passed away Tuesday December 5, 2017 at Season’s Hospice following a short illness.

Born June 24, 1956 to the late E. R. “Chick” and Cora Hardin, Joan was a native of Dawson County but had lived in Cherokee County for the past 40 years. She retired from the Cherokee County School System after 22 years of service. Joan was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Little; and brothers, Bobby Hardin and Wesley Hardin.

Surviving are her children, Dr. Misty West and Albert Angeli, Klamath, Falls, OR, Bobby and Amanda Little, Waleska; step children, Karla Little, Talking Rock, Billy Little, Marble Hill, Angel Little, Waleska; 14 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sisters, Susan Shires, Forest City, NC, Janice Fleming, Dawsonville, Helen Lomax, Dawsonville; brothers, Robert Hardin, Dawsonville, Danny Hardin, McCaysville, Douglas Hardin, Kentucky; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be held Friday December 8, 2017 at 3 o’clock at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Waleska.
