Sharon F. Knight, 64, of Dahlonega passed away Thursday February 9, 2017 at her residence following a period of declining health.
Born May 23, 1952, she was a lifelong resident of Lumpkin County. Sharon was a member of McKees Chapel United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Jack Knight, Dahlonega; children, Ben and Kim Nix, Ginger and Joseph Sabater, all of Dahlonega; parents, Masteen and Murrell Bearden, Dahlonega; nine grandchildren; sisters and brothers in law, Nell and Terrell Holtzclaw, Pat Brackett, Charlotte and Mike Bryant, Nancy and Russ Cochran, all of Dahlonega; brother and sister in law, Ray and Nell Bearden, Dahlonega; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Sunday February 12, 2017 at 2 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate. Interment will follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 2 until 8 at the funeral home.
