Faye Jones, 82, of Dawsonville passed away Thursday June 30, 2016 at Northside Forsyth Hospital following a period of declining health.
Born November 13, 1933 in Crabapple to the late Cecil and Velma Holcombe, she lived most of her life in Crabapple and moved to Dawson County three years ago from Cherokee County. Faye was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses since the early 1970’s. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Steve Jones; son, Randy Jones; and a grandson Jake Halverson.
Surviving are her children, Danny Jones, Dawsonville, Paul and his wife Gayle Jones, Dawsonville, Renee and her husband Jeff Olson, Decatur, TX, Becky and her husband Darrell Howington, Westminster, SC; thirteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and other relatives.
Memorial services will be held Saturday July 2, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. at the Dawsonville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1279 Harmony Church Road, Dawsonville, GA 30534.
