Vicki Neikirk has been named Chief Financial Officer for Dawson County, effective April 25, 2016, filling the position left vacant with Dena Bosten’s resignation in March.
Mrs. Neikirk has over 15 years of experience as Director of Finance, serving both county and city governments, including Hall County, White County, and the City of Toccoa. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of North Georgia and received her Financial Officer Certification from the Carl Vinson Institute of Government at the University of Georgia. She brings with her a proven record of performance.
“I am extremely honored to be chosen to serve the citizens of Dawson County as Chief Financial Officer. I look forward to working with County Manager Randall Dowling, the Board of Commissioners, and the Finance staff to ensure that the county maintains a strong and viable financial position,” said Vickie Neikirk.
