Joel Wayne Tedder: Obituary

Joel Wayne Tedder, 63, of Dawsonville passed away unexpectedly on Sunday August 9, 2015 while in California.
Born April 10, 1952 in Levan, Utah to the late William Otis and Helen Margaret Tedder, he had lived in Dawson County for the past 10 years having moved from Lawrenceville. Wayne was employed with IBM for the past 20 plus years and was formerly employed with Equifax. Mr. Tedder graduated from South Gwinnett High School in 1970 and possessed a love for coaching. He coached all of the boys for over twenty years. He loved to travel, fish and most importantly spend time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Lea Tedder; sons, Joshua William Tedder, Wesley Wyatt Tedder, Nicholas Joel Tedder, Aaron Wayne Tedder; stepsons, Matthew Maurice Mitchell and Stephen Alan Swain. He also had three grandchildren that he adored, Josiah William Tedder, Asher Allen Tedder and Sofia Norah Swain.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday August 18, 2015 at 11 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Jim Gaines will officiate.
Following the funeral service, a private interment will be held at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 until 8 at the funeral home.
