PRESS RELEASE

DAWSON COUNTY, Ga. — On March 6, Dawson County E911 received reports of a commercial vehicle fire on Hugh Stowers Road at 3:34 PM. Dawson County Fire units from Station 1 and 7 were dispatched at 3:35 PM and the first engine company arrived at 3:41 PM and found flames through the engine and cab of the vehicle.

Hugh Stowers Rd was closed briefly while crews extinguished the fire. No injuries were reported.  The cause is undetermined, but does not appear intentional.
