Mrs. Stacy Denise Mathews, age 53, of Dawsonville, passed away Wednesday January 2, 2019 at her residence.
Mrs. Mathews is survived by her Father: Bobby Goodwin and Step-Father: Tommy Blackwell. Daughters and Sons-in-Law: Jessie & Josh Sheriff of Marble Hill; and Megan & Tyler Chaney of Dahlonega. Brother and Sister-in-Law: Wayne & Lori Goodwin of Dahlonega. Also Two Grandchildren: Brax & Kane Sheriff. Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
The family will be receiving friends Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM and Sunday, January 6, from 8:00 AM until the funeral hour.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 6, in the Cagle Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Jason Hamby and Rev. Hunter Satterfield will be officiating.
Pall Bearers: Pyler Goodwin, Reyton Goodwin, Stevie Watson, Jason Satterfield, Danny Norton and Dalton Norton.
Interment will be at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery immediately following the funeral services.

Denise Williams, 54, of Dawsonville passed away Thursday September 27, 2018 at her residence following a period of declining health.
Born August 18, 1964, Denise was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. A member of Concord Baptist Church, she was a graduate of Dawson County High School and worked as a waitress at Shoney’s restaurant in Cumming for many years. A dedicated and loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother and friend, she was preceded in death by her son, Scott Williams, Jr., father, Clifford Allen and father-in-law, Thomas Williams.
Surviving are her husband of 28 years, Scott Williams of Dawsonville; children, Allen Williams and Melody Disharoon of Cumming, Amber Williams and Blake Underwood of Dawsonville; mother, Joyce Allen of Dawsonville; brother, Dean Allen of Dawsonville; grandson, Zeppelin Williams; mother-in-law, Jean Williams of Tennessee; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Monday October 1, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jimmy Orr will officiate. Interment will follow in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday September 30 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to help offset final expenses.
